For the most part, bread has been cut out of my diet. I will eat it on occasion, in fact, I had a 6 inch sandwich from subway this morning. In any case, bread should be avoided if you are trying to lose weight.
If you are going to buy bread, then I’d advise you to make the best choice you can. As far as I understand, due to legal loopholes, marketing crap, and other nonsense, if the bread doesn’t SPECIFICALLY say 100% whole wheat on the packaging, then it is probably filled with crap.
Don’t be fooled by bread that says, “with nuts” or whatever, because all that means is that they probably made some garbage bread, then sprinkled some nuts on it. Look for packaging that specifically says 100% whole wheat bread on the label, otherwise, you are eating wonder bread, with some wheat, God knows what else, and possibly a sprinkling of nuts on top.Follow @AngelRtalk
