I keep seeing posts online that say men are intimidated by smart women. I’m not going to produce some high level reports on this, but I will provide my opinion based on my own experiences.
I think that human beings are intimidated by people who they perceive may be smarter than them. They are intimidated by individual who are in higher positions than they are. In fact, they are intimidated by individuals who may be larger, stronger, or more attractive than they are.
I believe this to be the case, regardless of sex. I am no more intimidated by a woman of intellect, than I am by a man of intellect. Though I do my best to “not” be intimidated, I am a human being, and as such susceptible to human emotions. Intimidation being one of them.
Do I believe men are exclusively intimidated by smart women? No, I do not. Is it possible in some cases? HELL YEAH!
