The Hidden Report wants you to know the name Kermit Gosnell. It is a terrible disgrace that so many people still do not know who this man is and what he has done. Yesterday I put up a social media post asking a question of my Facebook, twitter and Google plus friends. The question I asked was quite simple, I asked “Do you know who Kermit Gosnell is?”
Most of the day this lone post remained inactive, neglected, untouched. Towards the end of the day 2, exactly 2 friends on Facebook commented and expressed their disgust after finding out what this man has done. 2 comments out of thousands of online connections.
You should see the activity my posts would receive if I said “I do not like to see gay men making out.” Mind you, I’m all for gay rights. I just do not like to see dudes sucking face, it’s just not pretty to me. When someone posts pictures of guys making out on Facebook, I simply hide the post. I don’t have a problem with the lifestyle or their rights to a civil union, but I’m not attracted to it.
In fact I don’t like to be around anyone sucking face, that’s a private thing and I shouldn’t have to stand around you while it happens. When in public, if someone is going at it, I move away from them. I digress though, the point here was that I’d get so much activity based off of that single statement. Everyone would be analyzing if that is something from my past, some would call me a homophobic beast, and on it would go for the entire day.
But Kermit Gosnell, never heard of him.
I’m not surprised though, it is not their/your fault. The thing is that most of my friends are from NYC, which means most of them read news from sites like The Huffington post. The Huffington post is a very liberal site, and shares stories that benefit the liberal agenda. If anything gun related happens that makes legal gun owners look bad, that is the front page story. You get my point. Well unlike most of my friends from here, I get my news from many different sources. The list ranges from the left leaning Huffington post to the right leaning Official TeaParty website.
Liberal sites are far too busy pushing Pro Obama, anti-republican and anti-gun agendas to talk about a “live baby killer”. Also considering that the far left is very much about promoting a woman’s right to choose, Kermit Gosnell would not be a good story. Writing about a man that is on a murder trial for performing multiple live abortions doesn’t fit the mold. This goes against the grain and hurts the liberal agenda. Those sites have to focus on getting the guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens before they kill more babies, right? Ironic? Protect the children.
Don’t get me wrong here, when it comes to this topic I lean towards liberal on the scale. I believe a woman has the right to choose whether or not to have a baby, up until a certain point in time. Clearly if the baby can be heard screaming as it is being “aborted” then that is no longer an abortion, it is the cold blooded murder of a living born baby. At that point the doctor performing the procedure and the “would be” mother should be tried for murder. I’m sure even the most liberal democrats can agree with me on this. If the baby is crying, then it is murder.
I can appreciate that some people on the right will feel it is murder regardless, but the thing is that we have to compromise on this topic otherwise no progress will be made. Look at the current landscape, the divisiveness is insane. Things are getting so crazy that it almost feels like we are due for a civil war.
Really it is no surprise to me that the media is not speaking about this topic though. A man snipping baby necks with scissors is bad publicity for pro-choice supporters like Obama. Let’s protect the children and focus on getting the assault rifles and those “one time use” magazine clips out of the hands of good, law abiding citizens like me.
