Facebook cosplay profiles deleted!

Over the last week or so it appears that Facebook has gone through quite a few changes. We have the new and improved mobile app, but Facebook also went on a rampage deleting “cosplay” profiles.

I am not clear if this affected all multi account users or just targeted cosplay accounts, however several users that I know from the cosplay scene had their accounts removed.

One cosplayer said in an interview with NYCTalking “Facebook has destroyed the entire cosplay community with this move. They should of at least warned us. I had a lot of friends, pictures and posts that I lost because of this”.

Many of us are heavily dependent on Facebook, I expect that there is a degree of social responsibility that should be exercised when making a move like this. If these accounts somehow violated facebook rules, the users should have been given a warning and a chance to make things right. Especially if the accounts had a lot friends, age, posts, etc.

I feel bad for the users affected and hope Facebook does good by these folks. Where any of you affected by the deletion of these accounts? Where any other accounts deleted? Let us know!

Please note the date on a post, it may be an old view. Growth and change.

Costume play. You know, where the folks dress up like anime or other cartoon characters. 🙂

For what purpose? Is this a sexual thing? Sounds kinky. LOL.

Same reason some people dress up for Halloween. There is a whole subculture of these cosplayers. Some people put alot of money, time and love into their outfits. I never dress up myself, but I sure do love looking at those beautiful ladies in those sexy anime outfits. LOL. My wallpaper is "Moka-san" from Rosario Vampire. Now dress a real woman up in that outfit and you have my kryptonite. I love her. LOL.
