I had the distinct pleasure of visiting and working with upcoming NYC DJ “DJ JHooks”. He’s been playing gigs at venues all over the city ranging from Sea in the Meatpacking District to venues in Brooklyn and has received numerous offers to play at huge events in other states as well. Keep your eye on this guy, he’s going to make leaps and bounds in the music scene nationwide!
Not to be understated, DJ Jhooks also has some sick MC skills and has blessed the microphone on more than one occassion.
His rap career, along with his producing are on hold at the present time while he focuses on his DJ career, but don’t sleep on him. You may just wake up one day to hear DJ JHooks spitting a verse on the air waves. Check out the video of our interview where he shows us his skill, he attempts to teach my son some moves on the 1’s and 2’s, and he breaks down some of his past musical work.
