NASA’s Rover “Curiosity” lands on Mars.

How do you feel about this? I’m looking forward to seeing some pictures of what the rover sees. The thought of it being so far away, being able to provide us with a look into one of our neighboring planets is exciting and frightening at the same time. Can you imagine how it would feel to be so far away at this time?

There is a film called “Sunshine” which deals with humans heading out towards the surface of the sun, a star, in order to save it from dying via a complex payload. The movie was amazing, and the concept mind boggling. I look forward to seeing pictures from Curiosity as they become available. Anyone that survives that long a journey, and 7 minutes of terror deserves to have their pictures looked at!
