No one shot over the weekend!

Apparently, this is the first weekend since 1993 where not a single person was shot. City officials stated that no shootings with victims were reported Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Mind you, that doesn’t mean there were no “shootings” per se, but no shooting with victims were reported.

I’m not sure how proud of this we should be, I mean what does it say about every other weekend in NYC? However, a win is a win, so let’s go ahead and enjoy it while it lasts.

Oh, it’s over already? Not to be outdone, Monday brought the shootings right back as during the afternoon a man was shot in… You guessed it, the Bronx. At least he is expected to survive so there’s that.
