I’m an iPhone guy; I have been for years. However, after examining the features and viewing the amazing results produced by the new camera on the Nokia Lumia 1020, that may very soon change. If you examine the video below, you will be taken on a long walk through New York City’s 5th Avenue. By using the amazing 41 megapixel camera, NYC-based director and film maker Paul Trillo (‘Salience’) takes us from an early morning to a late evening stroll through 41 blocks worth of New York City streets!

While watching this video, which is actually not a video per se, it is, in fact, a series of still images with zooming, you actually feel as though you are walking or even driving with Paul. The flow of the images gives the illusion that it is actually a video as opposed to a collection of still images! As Paul zooms in on the camera, the clarity of the images is amazingly sharp, exactly what one would come to expect from a device that boasts a 41 megapixel camera. Huh, what’s that? You didn’t get that, okay, allow me to repeat, the Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with a 41 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA! 41 MEGAPIXELS OF AWESOME!
