Obama administration and selective honoring

Remember when that basketball player came out as gay? Obama called him up and congratulated him. Remember when one of our most highly decorated soldiers was shot and killed? Chris Kyle, a man who had the support of so many people that his memorial filled up the Cowboys’ stadium. He didn’t get a call from Obama.

Recently, we had a football player come out as gay, and he too gets praise from the president, as does a twitter hashtag #IDAHOTcelebrating transexuals and the like. However, bronze star recipient, Army Ranger, and West Point Graduate, Alejandro Villanueva, who was also picked up by the NFL gets nothing. What about Armed Forces day? Surely he’ll honor that? Nope. Again, crickets.

I’m not attacking gays, I’ve said it time and time again, I have no problem with gay people. I do have a problem with not honoring our soldiers. If you have the time to call a gay basketball player, then you have the time to stop, and thank a veteran for their service. The problem with this administration is that they don’t want to be associated with anything that can be considered “right leaning.” Apparently, being a proud American, and loving your country, and those that defend her, is viewed as right leaning.

Armed forces day isn’t about left and right. It’s about our troops. With Memorial day coming up, do you think this administration will take a moment to honor our soldiers? Or will they find some other liberal cause to #hashtag while ignoring our troops? These idiots don’t realize that the troops protect them, and their right to be a feminine cleansing product, as much as they protect our right to love our country.
