Urbanspoon – One Stop Pizza & Restaurant (Woodside)

One Stop Pizza & Restaurant on Urbanspoon

This particular location has been renamed and changed at least 4 times in the last couple of years. It went from a Brazilian joint, to a pizza shop, to another pizza shop, and now to yet another pizza and somehow Halal shop.

I went here with my son today for a quick lunch. He had a pepperoni slice, I had 1 regular and a sicilian. We each had a 20 ounce drink, and he also had 2 brownies for $1…

Not much to say here, the experience was uneventful and pretty much felt the same as it ever has eating there. In fact it felt pretty much like any of these non-italian pizza places. The food is acceptable at best, and dreadful in a worst case scenario.

The pizza slices were ok, nothing terrible and nothing great. Average, you know, like any other of these places. What we did find funny (not really) was that my son ordered a chicken empanada, he bit into it and said “Pops this thing is empty, I don’t want it”. I decided to take a look and examine said empanada for myself. I opened it up, and there it was, empty except for what I dubbed a few pieces of “chicken dandruff”. It was ridiculous. We took it back and explained to the guy that the chicken must of run away.

Anyway, aside from that, the place was ok. I’d eat here again if I’m hungry and need something quick, but I wouldn’t try anything other than the pizza. But that’s just my opinion.
