Restaurant Review: Energy Kitchen (23rd Street)

[rating:4]

When it comes to one of my training periods, I’m all for keeping it basic and simple. I can eat the same thing over, and over, and over, and over again. In fact, I do. I really wish I had one of these restaurants or a Dig Inn over by me in Queens. The food is super clean and quite tasty. Most of the time when I eat here Turkey meatloaf is what I go with. It’s a tasty dish and though it’s clean and healthy, it doesn’t feel like I’m eating cardboard!  As a side order I usually get brown rice and mixed vegetables.  They have vitamin zero available here and some other drinks as well. Depending on how I’ve been in regards to diet and training I may or may not treat myself to some “only 8” low calories frozen yogurt. A place like this is an absolute must, and I am a fan. I’ve also had other items on their menu and it’s always been pretty good. Even my son has been able to eat their healthy burger, and he’s very picky!
