So as advertised I returned here today to give another “main dish” a shot. Today I tried the “Got beef” lunch special. With the lunch special you can add on a regular size drink for 2 dollars, but you have to get one of the specific lunch dishes (there are plenty of choices by the way).  Of course I ordered the same coconut drink I loved from last time as my drink!  I have to say, this beef dish was a HUMONGOUS improvement in the flavor department. It was absolutely delicious and quite colorful on the plate with an array of peppers and vegetables.  Redemption for the restaurant!  I knew that the tilapia dish didn’t define them and that’s why I gave them another shot.

I’ll also note that the owner of the place actually wrote back to me on the not so sweet note I wrote them on impulse that day.  He was very cool in his response and explained things out that in reality he didn’t have to. Kudos to him for that professionalism.  After a few back and forth emails chatting he ended with this:

Hey Angel. No worries. I get really upset too when I get hungry. I can relate! LOL.

I felt bad and embarrassed for what I’d consider the equivalent of a temper tantrum, but I’m glad I gave them a chance. The dish today was really good. If you go there make sure you give that “Got beef” dish a try. Delicious.
