Business Review – Asylum Studios (Update)

This place ended up being a disappointment. I worked with the artist in designing a really cool piece, and we were set to begin work.  But at some point they started to ignore me. I called, text, no reply. Didn’t make sense to me.

Eventually I got a text message back, but it was not a good one. The boss at the place instructed the artist not to tattoo people that learned about the place through yelp.

It would seem that the boss was not happy with the reviews the business was getting and as such he decided to make that policy. Furthermore I hear that he was trying to get the reviews pulled from the site. How disappointing.

Well, that’s a great way to improve your review standings. As friends I don’t feel we are all powerful, we are just regular people that write reviews on places based on our own experiences. We should all take reviews with a grain of salt.

This isn’t a knock on the artist, his work was solid and he seemed to be an expert in the type of work I wanted, but I was unable to get my piece done here, and that’s ok. I shouldn’t venture away from my regular trusted places, lesson learned.
