Urbanspoon – Panera Bread

Panera Bread (Bronx, Baychester Ave) on Urbanspoon

This past weekend I took my son to smile savers at Bay Plaza. It’s a bit out of the way, but he feels comfortable there so that’s where we take him.

It was time for my meal, and I wanted something relatively healthy, so we chose this place, after going into the extremely ghetto burger king and getting my son some nuggets and fries.

The setup here is weird, they have a sit down area, but you have to get on line, order your food, then take the number they give you and sit. After a while someone brings your food over.

My food was delivered relatively quick, but again I only had a salad. We had to take turns and hold the seats cause it was somewhat full in there. I’m not a fan of the setup, but it was smooth all things considered.

I had a chicken caesar salad, it was pretty good. I consider myself a caesar salad expert, and though I recognize it’s not as healthy as it seems, I do indulge from time to time. I had lemonade and it was also pretty tasty. My son’s mom had a salad and a sandwich, and she sang its praises to the high heavens.

So all in all this place was ok, if you are in the area it’s probably a better choice than most places.
