Urbanspoon – Village Diner
Rating:

This place could definitely have been better. It’s the closest diner we have so we decided to give it a 2nd chance, yes we came here once before. Some lessons are hard learned eh?
The service was slow and inattentive, just like before. Not once were we asked if we wanted water or more coffee, or simply “How’s everything”. In fact when it came time to pay and leave we had to wait quite awhile before we were acknowledged and given the check. I was tempted to try and walk out to see if anyone noticed.
The food was edible, but nothing memorable. I think I’ll hop a ride on the subway to Forest Hills next time and try the diners out there, this one simply did not impress either me, my son, or my wife.
Sorry Monique, I know you love the place. lol.
