I haven’t had yakitori in a long time. After some time at Angel Share me and the boys started to develop an appetite. Wait, let’s just step out of the bar and into the restaurant.
Ok so I am not an expert on yakitori, the only place I really ate it was at Taisho boy after Webster Hall and I was usually piss drunk by the time I got there.
However based on my limited experience, I have to say the food here was very good. I had a few skewers:
Chicken Meat balls – Delicious
Beef – Delicious
Chicken Gizzard – Delicious but hard to get off the stick.
Shrimp – Delicious, but you gotta rip off all the shell, etc.
Chicken Wings – Delicious
I also had some white rice and it was very good, sticky so I was able to eat it with the chop sticks. Garrett had this squid side dish, that was delicious.
The service here was pretty good, food came in a reasonable time frame, and overall the place was a great way to close out our day long UYE. I enjoyed it.
