5 Burro Cafe Review

[rating:4]

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place. I’ve been there twice already, and I was rather confused that I couldn’t find a review on my website.

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve been here, so specific details are out the window. I can, however, tell you this, the fajitas, phenomenal. The first time I went to this place, it was with a bunch of friends whom I met up with from yelp, which makes it even weirder to me that I can’t find a freaking review. Go figure. Anyway, that first time, I wasn’t very impressed. In fact, I swore this place off altogether. Ridiculous wait, not impressive food.

So yeah, I was done with this place. That is until recently when my wife decided that she wanted to go to 5 Burro. I was all like, no way babes; that place sucks ass hairs, remember how long we waited? But she insisted. So, as will often happen to us married men, I folded. 5 Burro it is.

Well, this time I left loving the place. The food was amazing. The service was acceptable, and we didn’t have to wait three hours to be seated. The first time we waited what felt like an eternity, but in their defense, we had a large group that time. This time it was only two of us. (Sing this) Just the two of us.

So what are the main takeaways from this review? Don’t go there with a large group, especially on a Sunday afternoon, the place is jam packed and there will be a long wait time. Try the fajitas, the dish is great and quite substantial. I had a combo fajita. It came with a little seafood, beef, chicken, as well as the usual. Some rice, pepper and onions, guac, chips, etc. It was very good, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Even if you tried them once before, and they sucked ass hairs. You might leave impressed the second time around. Lol.
