Today I took part in a healing hangout with some friends from yoga. We started with introductions and chatted for a bit. After that, we sat down for a meditation. I got emotional during it because the memory I was working through was the loss of my sweet Peppa. By the end of the meditation, though, I felt much calmer than when we started. I had been pretty nervous going in.

After that, we did some artwork. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it since I’m not really into art, but I drew a flower and wrote some words inside it that people have used to describe me. It turned out to be pretty fun and actually really cool.
At the end, some of the group started doing acro yoga. I sat that part out because I didn’t want to risk any injuries to myself or anyone else. Overall, it was a very welcoming space. I enjoyed the experience and would go back again when I can.
