If you caught that clip of Alan Ritchson scrapping with a neighbor in Tennessee, you probably had questions. So did I.

Here is what actually went down. Ritchson was riding motorcycles through his neighborhood with his kids when a guy named Ronnie Taylor stepped into the street to block him. Taylor admits he pushed Ritchson first. Ritchson crashed, got banged up, got shoved again, and then handled it. The original clip conveniently left out all of that.

Once the full footage dropped, including Ritchson’s own body cam, police cleared him. Self-defense. He even had grounds to hit Taylor with a reckless endangerment charge and passed on it. Case closed. I’m not sure if that was a smart move, especially if this loser tries to sue him.

Except Taylor did not get that memo. He has been flooding social media ever since, posting pictures and videos like he is building a case or a brand. Civil suit? Clout chasing? Honestly not sure. But it is embarrassing to watch.

Also, and I have to say this, what did he think was going to happen? You are picking a fight with a 6 foot 5 guy who plays Jack Reacher for a living. Come on you silly boy.

I am a Ritchson fan. Reacher is must watch television and his films are solid too. The man is this generation’s Arnold Schwarzenegger, just massive and compelling on screen. Not the greatest, but great in his own right and quite entertaining. What I respect even more is that he is open about dealing with mental illness. He talks about it publicly and without shame. That takes real courage.
