Don’t worry, there are no real details or spoilers here!
So what do I think about NBC’s new show “The Blacklist”? This is one of those shows that I have been patiently waiting for. It has literally been months since I first heard of this show. Thankfully, I was on a website that advertised the show was on tonight. I knew it was going to premiere on September 23, but I had lost track of the date.
What can I say about this show? It was everything that I expected and more! It was full of suspense, drama, all kinds of plot twists, and some humor. There is no question that my DVR is set to record the rest of the series. All aspects of the show, from the actors to the story, are pretty great!
If you are not familiar with what the show is about, it basically involves a criminal mastermind who chooses a newly tasked FBI profiler to work with him in tracking down high-level criminals. The mastermind, Redding, seems to know a great deal about the young profiler. He appears to know about her husband, and he knows plenty about the criminals they are hunting. He essentially allows himself to be caught in order to work with Elizabeth Keane.
At this point, I do not know what his motivation is for choosing Elizabeth Keane as the only person he will speak to. I am sure as the show progresses it will all make sense. Needless to say, this is a very promising show, and I cannot wait to watch the rest of it.
