In the final, Napoli Mafia beat White Spoon Chef Edward Lee. Napoli Mafia is undoubtedly a talented and creative chef, but his arrogance is a bit of a turn-off. Chef Edward Lee, on the other hand, is so respectful and humble—it’s impossible not to root for him.
While I don’t want to take anything away from Napoli Mafia and his win, I was definitely cheering for the White Spoon this time. For me, it ultimately came down to personality and humility. I’ll admit I was a little disappointed with the outcome, but congratulations to Napoli Mafia on his victory. If he can embrace a bit more humility, I think he’ll go far.
