Look, I know many people have different opinions about Drake, noting that he’s not a traditional rapper, that he doesn’t respond to disses, or engage in battles. But does that really matter? He is a talented artist who creates quality music and chooses not to engage in conflicts. It’s interesting that some people express concern about violence and negativity, yet when an artist comes along who focuses on a different path, they dismiss him. That perspective overlooks the broader picture. Regardless of his background, he has the freedom to express himself through his art in whatever way he chooses.
Last night, Drake shared a post on Facebook showing the following:
I respect someone who, despite having achieved so much, values completing their high school education. It’s about personal satisfaction and recognizing important milestones. Whether or not you are a fan of Drake, this shows a commitment to personal growth that deserves recognition. It demonstrates that even with fame and success, he values the smaller accomplishments that many can relate to. Drake is living his dream as an artist and still chose to earn his diploma.
Drake, I have followed your career for a long time, and you are among my favorite hip hop artists. This post has earned you additional respect from me. I believe you are setting a positive example for your followers and the young people who look up to you. You deserve recognition for sharing this achievement. Your post was inspiring, and I wanted to share it with my readers. NYCTalking sends respect to Drizzy Drake for focusing on meaningful accomplishments.
I’m impressed by this. It’s encouraging to hear about a rapper earning their diploma rather than negative news any day of the week. This represents a positive step forward for hip hop artists.

Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.

A very respectable move by Drake. Drake has good energy, a good vibe, and a good flow (for the most part) – makes great music. He deserves all the success he is getting.
Truth. Even though he said.”l knew turning in papers won’t get me paid”, he still earned it. Respect.
