Dascha Polanco is a well-known actress who moved to the United States from the Dominican Republic at a young age. She gained recognition for her role as Dayanara Diaz on the Netflix series Orange is the New Black. In 2021, she stars in the film adaptation of the musical In The Heights and plays the female lead alongside Sylvester Stallone in Samaritan. Polanco also hosts Netflix’s weekly LatinX podcast, Con Todo: Brown Love, which highlights the diverse experiences of LatinX talent in Hollywood.
