Unlike the fight between Francis and Tyson Fury, there was absolutely no doubt about the outcome of this one. From early on, Joshua took control, dictating the pace, and closed it out with a resounding exclamation mark: a knockout punch that put Francis to sleep.
During the fight, the commentators mentioned that other fighters had urged Joshua to take Francis out, saying he couldn’t be allowed to walk into their sport and beat up all their top guys. It seems Joshua took that to heart and did the homies proud.
Now, I’m not sure where Francis goes in boxing after this. His fight with Tyson was incredibly close, but this one was completely one-sided. They always say, “styles make fights,” and that’s never been more apparent.
