Heineken – The Experiment with Armin Van Buuren!

You know, up until a few years ago, when I started to perform my music and poetry at the many venues throughout the city, I never sang a word in public, unless I was extremely intoxicated! In addition to that, karaoke, dancing, and partying overall, drunk. You may have a hard time believing this, but I am actually very shy by nature. Yes, it is true; Angel Rodriguez is shy.

To fully understand this you need to examine my history, where I come from, what I experienced, and what I have done to overcome these roadblocks. Believe me, if you buy my book, whenever I decide to write it, then you’ll understand. In any case, I digress. The point I am trying to make is that I was always that guy who needed to get some drinks in him before he could really party hard.

The very first thing I would do upon entering the dance club was head right at the bar, and start drinking. Never mind that I already had plenty of alcohol floating through my blood stream from pre-gaming, but I had to get some more in me! Sometimes I’d grab me one of those cold Heinekens, sometimes I’d slam some long island ice teas, and sometimes I’d be doing them both. Bottom line, my shy, scared butt had to drink in order to get past the shyness and actually enjoy myself.

Enter this The Experiment by our friends over at Heineken, featuring Armin Van Buuren! The timing here is perfect, why? Well, New Year’s Eve just passed right? In terms of partying, New Years Eve is probably the biggest party night in the United States! Let me ask you a question, why do you think this party is so awesome? Besides the fact that it’s New Years and all that? I’ll tell you why, because most parties and venues book freaking awesome, celebrity DJs! Now if any can Save my Night, it’s an awesome DJ! Wouldn’t you agree? I don’t care what anyone says, you can definitely tell the difference when you have a kick ass DJ on the wheels of steel, and when you have someone who is mediocre or flat out sucks!

This video shows us that better music, and an entertaining DJ can absolutely affect the mood of a crowd, thereby influencing how much alcohol, or “other” stimulation the party goers need! Heineken wants us to Dance More Drink Slow! Check out the video, you’ll see for yourself that the numbers are there. One thing we always can count on is that numbers don’t lie! Check out the cool experiment and hear some awesome party music at the same time!

Please share and use our hashtag #DMDS ( Dance more drink less) and make yourself heard! We want to hear what you have to say! Share your experiences!
