There is a man downstairs without a coat, proper clothes, or even well-fitting shoes.
He is clearly suffering from mental illness and behaving erratically. I want to help him, but I’ve already given away all the extra coats I had to other homeless individuals. Additionally, I don’t see a safe way to approach and engage him—he’s erratic and aggressive.
It breaks my heart to see someone in this situation, and I truly wish society did more to help.

Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
