Joyner Lucas: Powerful Storytelling Music Video About Survival

I remember years ago watching a news story about a young man who survived several shotgun blasts and lived to tell his experience. He had been befriended and set up by someone trying to join a gang, with the initiation requirement being to kill an innocent person. No reason at all, just take a life to get in. The story was intense and difficult to watch.

One of my boys, Charlie Scott, shared a video today. Scott hardly ever shares someone else’s work. As a fellow rapper, if Scott shares it, then it is worth listening to. I clicked play, and this story started to unfold. I realized, “Wow, I know this story. I remember watching this.” This is storytelling at its finest, and I had to share it with you all.
