- Growing Up Bronx
This animation was cute but also annoying at times. I think that the story has a nice message to it and will be great for children, teenagers and even adults.
The movie takes us through the tale of growth of a bratty little kid. Kun is really difficult, ungrateful, and even jealous of his baby sister. So to try and teach this kid some life lessons, various versions of Kun’s family members visit him with a special message they have for him. That message being mostly “don’t be a jerk.”
I didn’t catch the whole film from the beginning. I kind of just walked in from the middle but I immediately understood what was happening and it caught my attention.
Basically you have this annoying kid who’s being a bit of a brat and through seeing his family‘s past experiences he’s learning important lessons about life. It’s fairly touching and emotional at times but also highly insufferable because of how over the top bratty and annoying this Kun kid can be.
I had never heard of this film, but I thought it was cute and the animation is kind of nice too. It’s worth a watch if you’re into cute kiddie animation type of stuff and can tolerate Kun being a pain in the butt.
Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
