So, get this—apparently, there’s another guy out there named Angel Rodriguez (yeah, same name as me) who voted for Trump. Now, because of him, I’m getting attacked on TikTok. Like, bruh… WTF?
Here’s the kicker: this other Angel Rodriguez voted for Trump, but he’s Latino, and he’s dealing with some wild racism from his own neighbors who also support Trump. His kids were playing across the yard with another Trump supporter’s kids, and the neighbor basically told him, “I don’t want your kids over here because you’re Latino.” Can you believe that? Dude supported Trump, just like his neighbor, and they’re still being racist to him.
Meanwhile, because this guy shares my name, people on TikTok think I’m him and have decided to come after me for it. I’m out here minding my own business, but now I’m catching heat for something I didn’t do. Like, can y’all chill for a second and at least make sure you have the right guy?
It’s honestly so ridiculous. Do people not realize there are thousands of Angel Rodriguezes out there? But nah, they just see the name, get mad, and start firing off comments and tags like it’s a free-for-all. And now my notifications are blowing up with stuff I have nothing to do with.
The craziest part? The real Angel Rodriguez they’re mad at is dealing with some next-level hypocrisy. He’s a Trump supporter, but even that wasn’t enough to save him from his neighbor’s racism. Like, how are you on the same team politically and still racist toward the guy? It’s unreal.
At the end of the day, this whole thing is a mess. Social media is out here turning into a blame game, people don’t fact-check, and the wrong Angel Rodriguez (me) ends up in the middle of drama I didn’t sign up for.
Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
