Click and bait, all day. That’s what this title does to you: MOM WATCHES CRUISE SAIL AWAY WITH KIDS ON BOARD. They make it sound as though a cruise ship left a mother behind. But when you read the actual story, you learn that the husband stayed behind to wait for her, and the kid’s uncle was with them. Click and bait, all day.
Norwegian appears to have helped them get lodging, and arrival at the next docking port. This is much more than I believe they were required to do. If you know that the ship leaves at 530pm, why are you not there at 530pm? I know that things happen, who knows what went down? But as adults, we know that we have to plan for delays, etc. Especially when it comes to something like a cruise ship.
So if she didn’t make it on time, she deserved to be left behind, and she should be financially responsible for it. This way she’ll learn her lesson and be more punctual.
