NES Classic Mini 8bitdo bluetooth receiver

About a year or two ago I got a Nintendo NES classic mini. The controllers that it comes with are cool but they are wired, and the wire is very, very short. In order to play you have to be right in front of the television. This is not very practical especially considering that pretty much every gaming system has gone wireless by now. Also, our tvs are no longer tiny screens, but huge monitors meant to be viewed from a distance. Perhaps they were going for the nostalgia of it all, but the control wire is way too short.

So I decided to buy a wireless controller. I got the Nyko miniboss controller and it sucked really bad! After my bad experience with that controller, I decided to get a bluetooth receiver instead. I went with 8bitdo as they seemed to have a nice rep. I purchased it online and when it came I hooked it up with my classic Wii controller and I’ve played that way. This little gadget is pretty nifty and works really well. I haven’t had any problems with it at all.

If you want to use any of your bluetooth controllers to play with the NES classic then this little gadget is a must have. I don’t recall the exact price but it wasn’t very expensive and it was very easy to set up. This device has the NYCtalking.com seal of approval.
