Kew Gardens has just received a new addition to the Thai food market. Ocha opened up about four or so weeks ago. I went to try them out and found that they were cash only, which is a bit inconvenient for most people since many of us don’t carry cash. I picked up the food since they’re really close to where I live, and it was okay.
There was nothing about it that really stood out. One thing I will say is that though I ordered a cashew based plate, I think I may have seen only three cashews. Now, of all the things you can skimp on, how do you go light on cashews? That one was a bit surprising.
This place could become a quick meal spot for me, but if I have to stop at an ATM just to order from them, it’s unlikely I’ll eat here often. It’s okay, but not mind blowing.
