Pet Shop Boys Drop New Single “Axis” from Album Electric

The Pet Shop Boys are due to release their 12th studio album, “Electric,” in July. Today, as I was about to start some writing, I went on Spotify in search of some new music. I saw “Pet Shop Boys” and thought to myself, “Why is Spotify pushing 80s music? Must be because I have them on an 80s playlist or something.” So I clicked on the song. I was wrong. No, ladies and gentlemen, “Axis” is not an 80s song that I somehow missed! It is a brand new single released from the Pet Shop Boys’ upcoming album “Electric.” It is definitely the Pet Shop Boys sound, synthpop at its best. The single sounds really good and just flows from the speakers into your ears. I have always loved this genre of music and feel it is a welcome addition back into today’s market. Check it out!
