Restaurant Review: Goodfellas LES

[rating:5]

Goodfellas. Eyyyy, yoooo… With a name like that you better write a good review or you gonna sleep with the fishes. You understand what I’m saying to you pal?

Ok, I kid, I kid, when I went in, there was a lone spanish dude, 1 white dude with a nice friendly hairstyle, and a lovely lady named April. I didn’t see any of the characters from Goodfellas, but hey, that doesn’t mean they aren’t watching. You think I’m funny? I’m funny to you?

When I checked into this spot, the first thing I spotted was a nice message saying “You have a check-in offer of 20% off of your purchase”. Sweet!

April went and cleared it with the boss man, no problems, 20% just for checking in. I ordered a personal pizza, old style and an orange soda. April noticed my arm was wrapped up and bleeding, so we started talking and swapped tattoo war stories. Tonight’s main theme being pain, pain, and more pain.

The pizza was really good. It wasn’t greasy or oily at all. The sauce was light yet thick enough, the dough was cooked to perfection, wasn’t soggy or wet-ish. Oh I’m getting really hungry just talking about it. The cheese was the right level of chewy and flowed perfectly with the other components. For good measure they put a basil leaf in the middle of the slice.

The soda tasted good, not watered down or anything. The service was great, April was a great host and the food came out at a reasonable pace.

You have the option to order, sit down or simply take out. I look forward to trying this place again and sampling their menu further. Ohhhh. I’m really hungry now!

Pizza!!!!
