Revisiting the X-Men Saga: Days of future past

It’s been a long time since I watched the X-Men movies. When I was at yoga last week, they were talking about the films, and I realized that I really didn’t remember much about them. I watched each one once when they came out, and never again. I never hated the X-Men movies. In fact, I really love them, but the newer ones kind of switch things up a bit. However, I can still enjoy watching them. So, I think I will go through them over time and rewatch them. I’m extremely curious to see how they will integrate the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’m particularly excited to watch Deadpool and Wolverine.

This movie is basically about the X-Men trying to prevent a future war where humanity is pretty much destroyed because of the Sentinel program. You have the characters from the previous X-Men franchise and the newer, younger X-Men franchise working together to prevent this apocalyptic future. Wolverine gets sent back in time, and he has to unite Magneto and Charles Xavier to prevent the apocalypse. It’s an old film but still pretty damn enjoyable for me. Most of you have probably already watched it, but if you haven’t, I think it’s a really cool watch, and you should check it out.
