I’ve never been a big DC fan. That’s not because I don’t like them, I simply was never exposed to them. I’ve always been exposed to marvel comics, toys, and films. Although, lately I have been watching more of the animations, films, and learning about the characters. Batman for instance earned my respect during the film War. I had never really watched the Justice League until then, and they earned a new fan after that film.
When I saw “Son of Batman,” I figured I had to watch it. Again, I came to this film completely unaware of what to expect, but it was very entertaining. We met a new villain, who reminds me very much of Deadpool, and his name was Deathstroke. Similar outfit, similar name, coincidence? You decide! I just enjoyed the film.
Basically, the league of assassins are training, when they are attacked by some folks. Madness ensues, and Batman finds out he has a son, and ends up with baby sitting detail. That’s rather entertaining to watch. Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t want to add any spoilers, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. I’m not traditionally a DC or Batman fan, at all. In fact, I often rip on him because he’s a normal man. How dare anyone compare him to Superman. However, he has earned my respect, and the animated films are very entertaining. So far they are two for two! Adding Damion (his son) to the mix makes things even more entertaining. Pick up the film and check it out!
