I was on the train and I could feel this guy staring at me. So I glanced in his direction. The second he noticed, he quickly looked away. Then a moment later, he must have felt me looking at him because he turned toward me, so I looked away. We went back and forth like this two or three more times, almost like we were caught in some strange little staring game.
It was ridiculous and I actually started to giggle because it was so funny. He had this intense look in his eyes, like he was about to lose his mind, and yet neither of us said a word. Just this silent, awkward, yet somehow hilarious exchange. Humans really can be interesting sometimes.
