Sundance Cafe

[rating:4]
We’ve been getting a few new stores in the neighborhood. Sundance Cafe is one of the latest to join the fold. I noticed the store and decided to try it out, and it was pretty good. Even my son ate the food from here, and for those who know my kid, you know that this is pretty big accomplishment.

The place is geared towards take out, but they do have some bar type wall chairs where you can eat.  But it’s not a sit down service type of restaurant. The food is Mexican themed, burritos, fajitas, etc. They have signs all over the store about clean food, healthy, etc.

I think the food is pretty clean, I ate there before, and just ate there again yesterday. I spent sometime speaking with my new friend Kavita about the food, and general stuff. Everyone in there has been friendly and courteous.

I’ve tried their fajitas, rice dishes, and burritos, I enjoyed them all. The food was clean, not greasy, no headaches, and I didn’t feel bloated or stuffed even after eating a relatively large burrito.

These guys used to only open for lunch, but now they are experimenting staying open later to see how things go. Give them a shot, you can’t go wrong with one of their healthy burritos. They also make the food to order, so if you are not feeling like eating beans because you are going for a run, (ahem)  then you can tell them no beans.

I recommend the spot, good, clean food, nice people, always a win.
