Sweet Home

I didn’t watch every episode of this series, but I saw pretty much the whole series. It started off a bit slow for me, thus the reason I stopped watching and missed a few episodes. But my wife continued it and of course I got pulled into it as it got crazier. I think it’s a pretty good show and I’ll continue watching it when they release season 2.

Basically, there is some sort of virus or something that is out in the world. Most people who get sick become a monster based on what they want most in life. But a very special select few do not become full blown monsters and develop some pretty sick abilities. That’s basically the whole premise.

As expected with that end of world type of thing, you get the bad people trying to abuse the good ones, you have the military engaging in similar behavior, and the internal group struggle. Same stuff, different language.

It is one of those shows where I get really angry and passionate about how weak the main characters are. I scream at the tv and my family has to tell me that the characters can’t hear me. It just pisses me off how cooperative they are during an apocalypse. Look, it’s kill or be killed. You are either the wolf or a sheep. It’s as simple as that.

I can’t stand when someone in that world gets all emotional and doesn’t want to kill the guy who’s abusing and trying to kill them. Hello? Kill them, the world is not the same anymore! You can’t live by the same rules! Kill them or they will kill you!

So yeah, that anger and frustration aside, I enjoyed the show and recommend you check it out.
