Getting your eyes checked is one of those things you keep pushing off until you finally commit and go. I made the trip out to Target Optical in College Point, and it was well worth the long bus ride.

Dr. Bernstein was great. Professional, thorough, and easy to work with. The staff overall was helpful and made the process smooth from start to finish.

The real standout though was Marwa. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I walked away with exactly what I needed. What made her memorable was a moment that still makes me laugh. I asked for her honest opinion on a pair of frames I was considering. Her response was a resounding and immediate no. No hesitation. I appreciated that more than a polished sales pitch.

One thing worth mentioning for anyone going in. Pay attention to the details of your prescription order before you leave. There was a small adjustment being made to my lenses that deviated slightly from what Dr. Bernstein and I had agreed on. To their credit, they had good intentions behind it, but I caught it and we corrected course back to the progressive lenses I had originally chosen. Just something to stay on top of.

Overall it was a great experience. Ask for Marwa when you go in. Tell her Angel sent you. She will remember me.
