So my wife and I decided to check this film out. At the time, I had no idea that the main actor is Denzel Washington’s son. To be clear, my thoughts on the film are no reflection on John David Washington’s acting ability or talent. In fact, I think I will give it another try to see if I can get through it.
I say that because my wife and I could not get pass the first 30 minutes of this film before we lost complete interest. There were about two hours left by the time we quit; I couldn’t bare repeating those 30 minutes 4 more times. No, just no.
From what I saw, this film was complete and total garbage. This whole making things go backwards and crap, that’s just a weird premise to me. That weirdness aside, I just wasn’t enjoying or interested in this movie at all. You know, come to think of it, nah, I’m not gonna try to watch it again. I just can’t do it. Hard pass.
