The Devil’s Hour

This show kind of reminded me of Yellowjackets in a way. Not so much in the content, but just the really weird nature of it.

This show will have you confused pretty much 90% of the time as nothing really makes any sense. But as it progresses and we get towards the end, things will somewhat start to make sense.

Even if the show were to end today and never come back, you kind of have some idea of what the concept is and at least they don’t leave you hanging like some of the other shows do. I really hate when a seasonal show does that. I mean, what’s to say you will come back for another season? At least give us a bit of closure.

I don’t know if I’d classify this show as a supernatural show, but it does have some elements that kind of make it so.

*Spoilers begin*

There are some people who become aware of their life loop so to speak. They come to life, live, then die. Then they repeat the same life again. The difference between the main characters here and the rest of us is that they can remember their past lives. They are awakened to this phenomena and as such they can take action to prevent bad things from repeating. Each time becoming aware of more and taking steps to make it right. It’s kind of wild to see really, and imagine having this knowledge and trying to prove it to someone? That’s what Gideon has to go through, over and over and over again. It’s wild.

*Spoilers end*

I was a bit on the fence about the show, but I really wanted to finish it. It’s interesting and worth a watch.
