The Kominsky Method Series Review

I think that I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite ever comedy sitcoms. From the moment I saw the previews that pop up on netflix, where they showed Norman Newlander and Sandy Kominsky going back and forth at each other, I was in love.

My son, my wife (on occasion) and I binged all three seasons of this show fairly quickly. It is a very heartwarming, funny, sad, serious show all in one. It basically follows an acting coach through his day to day life and features many characters that are part of that life. From his daughter, ex-wife, students, and my all time favorite, the aforementioned Norman Newlander.

This guy has such a dry sense of humor, so matter of fact and blunt, its hilariously refreshing. I don’t know that I’d watch this show the way I did if Norm and Sandy didn’t have the relationship they do right from the start.

Had it started with season 3, I’d probably not continue watching it. But at that point, we were already really invested in the show so it was worth watching. You’d have to really mess it up to make us lose interest 3 seasons in. However, had it started there, I don’t know.

The show also features a slew of celebrity guests stars such as Danny Devito and Morgan Freeman.

If you’d like to see a funny, heartwarming, sometimes really sad sitcom comedy drama, then check out The Kominsky Method, it comes highly recommended from the Rodriguez household.
