The last of us

So we have been waiting a while before starting this series because we wanted to have a few episodes to watch. Personally, I hate these shows that make us wait in order to watch all of the episodes. It’s not cute, it doesn’t make us more interested, and frankly, I wish these people would just stop doing that.

Watching this show felt like I was watching The Walking Dead. I know it’s based off of the video game, but the premise is pretty much the same. I’m not sure which came first, but yeah, we all know that basically it’s going to be the same premise. You have zombies, the tyrannical government, and of course, the evil people. Those are the main enemies in a show like this.

This series is definitely tragic right from the beginning. They hit us with that Game of Thrones energy, but even sooner than GOT did! Still, despite that abrupt leap from normal life to a world madness and despair, we are enjoying the show.

So far we are three episodes in and its pretty good. I look forward to the rest of the episodes and hopefully they don’t leave us hanging at the end of season. I’ve seen many well performing shows do that while under the impression that they’ll surely be renewed, yet they got canceled. Keep doing a great job, but I hope that at the end of this season you give us some form of finality just in case you don’t come back.
