What we have here is another typical Liam Neeson movie where he is a former tough guy who is tasked with yet again protecting and saving a young child. This time though, it is the Cartel who is hunting for the kid.
This movie, like several others has really taken it too far when it comes to their decisions revolving around pets. I don’t understand when filmmakers got the idea that it was OK to harm pets in their movies. I guess since John Wick had his dog killed, everyone now thinks that it’s all goody goody to kill off the freaking pets? Stop that crap!
Overall, the story is fairly good with some decent action scenes. It is not the greatest film I have seen, but it is not a bad film. If you have a bit of time and want to watch a decent film with some action, shooting and people hunting and all the crap that entails, then check out The Marksman. It totally worth a watch.
