Love him or hate him, after this last fight, Jake Paul deserves some respect. At one point he knew he was hurt and that he was going to keep on getting hurt, but he didn’t quit. You could see it in his eyes, he was sacrificing his well being in order to give us a show. He paid for this with a broken jaw and a public beat down. I respect the hell out of him for that though. He didn’t have to do it, he could have just quit after the first few knock downs and his jaw would probably be okay, but he didn’t quit.
No matter what anyone says, I give this his dude props. He kept getting back up despite knowing that it was already over for him. He did that for the fans. He’s got heart. Even if his Boxing Days are over due to his severe injury, he can still keep promoting and putting on great shows, especially for the women’s boxing. Some of the fight’s he’s hosted have been really good. He’s got my respect.
I think Logan knew that his brother was in trouble and that’s probably why he looked a bit upset. We always want to look out for our siblings. To be honest, despite the trash talk, and everyone wanting this dude to get smashed, especially after the Tyson fiasco, it kind of broke my heart to see it happen. Granted, he just did something that many brave warriors do time and time again, get back up and keep fighting after being dropped. But it made me feel bad to see that level of commitment (despite knowing they were beat) from someone who didn’t come up in that world. Jake Paul is a late starter. That’s why you gotta respect the grit.
