Trains And Your Safety

Let’s once again talk about trains and your safety. I have covered this topic before. Rules about riding the subway, and many stories. But yesterday I saw something that requires another refresher. Okay, so let’s do this.

As the train pulled into the station, these two people were leaning over the platform filming something. I don’t know if they didn’t notice, or if they misgauged the distance. However, I went over and I yanked them both back. They were shocked at being grabbed and looked at me as if I’m some sort of jerk.

I pointed and said “the train is coming. Y’all don’t want to die on this day? Right? They then realized my intent, and the guy in the group responded saying what they were doing, but I didn’t really hear him. You know, CAUSE THE TRAIN WAS COMING!

After that, he looked at me again and said “I’m not looking to die, not yet.” Obviously, I heard that and we both awkwardly laughed. Hehe. Yeah, one of those laughs.

The ladies in the group clearly didn’t like my intrusion. They continued to give me weird looks the entire time. I fake smiled at them and just looked away.

Look people, those trains can kill the hell out of you. Do not lean over the platform, and for crying out loud, pay attention to your surroundings!

If you don’t care about your life, at least be considerate to the folks who would have to mop you up, and the passengers you would delay! Geez!
