Unknown number

I don’t understand why some people insist on making calls from a private number. I think that it is safe to assume that most of us would become suspicious of a person who is calling us, and hiding their identity. The reasons are many, and as modern people, I don’t think I need to go into specifics for you. However, if you’d like one, I don’t know, uhm, SERIAL KILLERS!

So that’s strike one, you call private, you have the right to do so. However, we reserve the right to ignore your ass. Now if you wish to receive a call back, then you should leave a message when you are taking into voice mail. Provide a name, a number, and the reason for your call. If you do not, and you continue to call back from a private number, odds are we will never talk. Although, I will admit, if I am working with casting people for a television appearance, then I am more likely to answer the call as I need to talk to them.

I’ll be honest, I don’t really like to talk on the phone too much. If I’m alone, I don’t mind as much, but on the train, or with other people around, I don’t like to do it. I don’t like people all up in my business! I’d rather talk face to face, or text. So, do you think that I will answer a phone call that I don’t know who it is?

Here are two tips to getting me on the phone. If you want me to answer, first and foremost don’t hide your identity. Second, if I don’t answer, assume that you are being screened, please leave a message and I may call you back, or text you, or I might just ignore you altogether. Hahah.

I hope you have learned some basic phone etiquette from us today! So how do you guys feel about “private” or “unlisted” phone calls?
