Vintage Curry Review: Tandoori Chicken and Tikka Masala Delight in New York City

[rating:3.5]

I’m not a huge fan of Indian food. I’m not against it or have a problem with it, it’s just not one of my favorite cuisines. However, on occasion I will eat some Indian food.

Today we tried Vintage Curry. I ordered my usual dish, the tandoori chicken, and my wife went with a tikka masala chicken. I got some basmati rice with that, and some naan.

The chicken was very good; tandoori is usually quite dry, but this one wasn’t. I think they cooked it just right. The tikka masala was also very good. I’m not usually a big fan of that particular sauce, but in this dish it worked well. I even used it to dip my naan in, and it complemented it nicely. The rice was pretty good as well.

This was a takeout order, and the food did take a while to come, but it was a good meal. I ate my fill and then some. We’ll definitely order from this place in the future. If you are craving some Indian food, give Vintage Curry a try—I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Just a life long New Yorker sharing the journey through my lens. Please take note of a post’s date. The views I express here are subject to change and evolving as I grow and learn.
