This woman was at a black lives matter protest. She can be seeing in various clips appearing to harass the attendees. I can’t say for sure, but that’s what it appears like. In the following tweets, Fox News provides a bit more context.
I guess she was upset that they were blocking traffic and trains. So at one point she goes over to a black woman and snatches a sign out of her hand, the woman then unleashes a barrage of punches on the white lady’s face. The white lady then stumbles away crying while a police officer tries in vain to calm and console her.
I’ve always maintained that I don’t encourage violence. Also note that the law doesn’t treat everyone equally when it comes to throwing hands. I don’t know if snatching and destroying her property is grounds for self defense or this kind of assault? Legally speaking that is, we all know the streets rules are different, but I’m talking strictly from a legal standpoint.
Whether or not I agree with violence, I think it is safe to say that the black community is getting tired of the nonsense that white people have long gotten away with. We are starting to see more and more that they are getting what they deserve. (Not saying she deserved this as I’m not clear on all the details.) Particularly those who call police on black people who are just minding their own business and existing.
This particular case was a bit more confrontational in nature, and I’m not sure why the white lady snatched her sign. But I think that at the end of the day, they both need to keep their hands to themselves. I mean, do what you gotta do out there, but remember who the law favors, and how they treat people like us when we do something like this.
